SMS reminders sent at the right time

A no-show client leaves a gap that often can no longer be filled. Manual reminders, however, take time and are easy to skip on a busy day. Rewi prepares messages based on appointments and sends them on the schedule you set.

Automatic messages tied to the appointment

Rewi handles notifications for the most important events. The client can get a booking confirmation, a reminder before the visit, or information about a change or a declined request. A message after the visit can close out the service process.

The system uses data stored in the calendar. The date, time, service name and salon name don't have to be retyped into every message. This reduces errors, especially with many appointments a day.

The reminder schedule can be reviewed before sending. Reception sees which messages are scheduled and which appointment they are linked to.

Set up wording that sounds like your salon

Message templates support variables. Rewi can insert the client's name, date, time, service and salon name. One corrected template then works for many appointments.

The text should be short and unambiguous. The client should immediately know what the message is about and when the visit will take place. When the time changes, state the new date clearly instead of asking them to look up details in another channel.

The salon can separate operational messages from marketing ones. An appointment confirmation serves an existing booking. A promotional campaign requires a separate audience and appropriate consent.

Less manual typing at the end of the day

Without automation, reception goes through tomorrow's schedule and sends similar messages one by one. With several employees the task quickly grows. One urgent phone call is enough for some clients to miss their reminder.

Rewi creates sends based on the calendar. The team doesn't have to remember each appointment separately. They can focus on exceptions, such as preparation for a treatment or an individual time change.

Automation does not replace correct data. The phone number must belong to the right client. The appointment time in the calendar must be up to date. So it is worth tidying the client records before turning on more messages.

Conversations and campaigns in the same communication area

Rewi supports SMS campaigns for selected client groups. You can use labels and segments so you don't send one offer to the whole database. The wizard shows recipients, content and the estimated cost before the campaign is launched.

A two-way chat is also available. Client replies go into threads instead of employees' private phones. The unread counter helps reception return to a conversation.

These tools have a different job than reminders. A reminder works automatically with an appointment. A campaign serves planned communication, and chat handles the client's reply. Separating these purposes helps keep things orderly.

SMS works together with e-mail and notifications

Not every piece of information has to go through the same channel. Rewi can send booking-related e-mail messages. An employee can get a push notification about a new booking.

The client doesn't need an employee account or access to the panel. They receive only information about their own appointment. The client portal later lets them check slots and take available actions.

Measure the effect on the schedule, not by the number of messages sent

The number of SMS alone shows no value. No-shows, early cancellations and the reception time spent on contact matter more. Rewi reports help you track communication effectiveness and appointment statuses.

It is worth starting with one reminder for the most common services. After a few weeks the salon can compare the number of no-shows and adjust the sending time. Longer or pricier treatments may need a different scheme than a short service.

A reminder does not guarantee attendance. It works best together with an up-to-date calendar and a clear cancellation policy.
